The Baton Rouge Unit of Parliamentarians announces its newest Professional Registered Parliamentarians: Carole D. Gloger and Nicole A. Learson.

Carole D. Gloger joined the Baton Rouge Unit on April 24, 2009 and became a member of NAP on July 25, 2009. She was certified as a Registered Parliamentarian on September 19, 2011.   After successfully completing the PQC at the 2016 National Training Conference in Broomfield, CO in August, Ms. Gloger was notified on September 20, 2016, that she had attained Professional Registered Parliamentarian status.

She currently serves as president of the Baton Rouge Unit and has been appointed as State Parliamentarian for the LA Society Daughters of the American Revolution and the U.S. Daughters of 1812.

Nicole A. Learson became a member of the Louisiana Association of Parliamentarians and NAP on December 13, 2012. She later joined the Baton Rouge Unit the following March. Nicole was certified as a Registered Parliamentarian on November 18, 2015. In September of this year, Nicole successfully completed the PQC in San Antonio, TX and was notified that she attained Professional Registered Parliamentarian status.

Nicole currently serves as vice president and program chair of the Baton Rouge Unit. She is parliamentarian for the Urban League of Greater New Orleans Young Professionals and for the last two years has served as a judge at the Louisiana FBLA State Conference for the parliamentary procedures competitive event.

The Baton Rouge Unit was founded in 1984 and serves the Greater Baton Rouge area. It meets on the last Tuesday of every month at the local library.
