The Texas State Association of Parliamentarians held their 67th Annual Convention on April 29-May 1 in San Antonio. Members were excited to be returning to an in-person event after the virtual convention in 2021 and the cancellation of the 2020 meeting.
The association was honored to have NAP President Wanda Sims, PRP, CP and District 6 Director Lucy Hicks Anderson, PRP, CP in attendance. President Sims installed the officers and Director Anderson presented an education session.
The newly elected association officers are:

1st Vice President – Donna Mitchell, PRP
2nd Vice President – Fashika Willis McClelland, PRP
3rd Vice President – Michelyn Washington, PRP
Recording Secretary – Bennyfer Bridgewater, PRP
Treasurer – Lewis Vetter, RP
TSAP is looking forward to an exciting year – workshops are being scheduled, new initiatives for youth are planned, and the entire leadership team and membership are engaged.
